Discover Ormana’s Buttoned Houses, built with a mortarless stone-and-timber technique, together with its lanes and living village culture.
Departing from hotels in Side and Manavgat, we travel to Ormana in the İbradı district. Walking through the village lanes, we view the traditional houses known locally as Buttoned Houses, whose stone walls are reinforced with timber ties, and allow time for architectural details, photography and independent exploration. The visit is planned with respect for Ormana as a living community. Entry to privately owned houses is not guaranteed and is possible only with the owner’s or operator’s permission.
